With over 18 years experience in the industry, Mike Barber has worked across all sectors of the playground industry, from Local Authorities to Town and Parish councils, schools and nurseries. Elevate Play is an independent playground company, offering an unrivalled product range.
Mike's vision is to elevate and improve the standard of play provision across the country for all children, by designing outstanding play spaces, combined with great customer service and value for money.

Our Process
Site Consultation
We start our process with an on-site consultation, in order to fully understand your needs and the site requirements, as all projects are individual.
We put together a detailed brief in order to start the design process.
Design Process
This is where we get creative. Using our experience of the playground industry, combined with your brief, we will put together initial concepts and ideas.
Once we have a completed design, we will present this to you along with fully costed quotes.
Construction
Once you are happy with our final design proposal and costings, we start the construction phase, offering full project management of the scheme.
We pride ourselves by having great customer service and will keep you informed every step of the way.
Who We Are
Managing Director: Mike Barber
Mike set up Elevate Play Ltd in January 2022 and has worked in the playground industry for 18 years. Mike is married and has three children, two grown up daughters and a six year old son (chief playground tester). With a background in sport, health and exercise, Mike competed for Great Britain and England for over 8 years in track and field athletics. He has always been passionate about getting children and young people active and worked as an athletics and gymnastics coach after his competitive career. Still a keen cyclist and regular at the gym, Mike believes great playgrounds and outdoor spaces are essential to get children and communities active.
Our goal is to create fantastic playgrounds for everyone to enjoy and get active.
